Our mission is to guide brain injury survivors, individuals with disabilities, and their families, by ‘bridging the gap’ between surviving and living lives of independence with dignity and hope. Our organization assists people to rebuild skills they were once able to do independently before terrible tragedy struck in the form of a car accident, stroke, assault, fall, or before they were struck with a debilitating disease.
Here's What We’re Looking For In A Social Media Coordinator:
This is an exciting new position within our organization! The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance awareness of our organization and mission, engage our audience, and drive donations.
We’re looking for candidates with a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of current social media trends. You should have a flair for creating fresh, engaging content that resonates with our target audience. Most importantly, you should bring a genuine passion for social media and the ability to connect with people in meaningful and impactful ways.
The Social Media Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Managing And Enhancing Our Organization’s Social Media Presence. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With And The Ability To:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms to align with the organization’s goals, mission, events, programs and fundraising efforts.
- Create compelling, original content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that increases engagement and builds community.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, adapting content accordingly to maximize impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media platforms.

Preferred Education & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media management,.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences including: Meta, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn & YouTube
- Proficiency in social media management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and strong visual storytelling abilities
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Enthusiastic and passionate about social media and digital marketing
The pay range for this role is $20 to $22 per hour. Salary offers are commensurate with education & experience.
